My interview this week is with my friend, Diana Starr Langley. She has started many successful companies, and as she admits, a few that flopped. It's an interesting story that starts with a rural childhood. She attended University of Michigan Business School, and started her own medical company, Dioptics Medical Products at age 25 In 1979. The company developed the first sunglasses with UV protection (Solarshields) and the first intraocular implant for cataract surgery. The company was sold in 1996 and continues to do well. After a few years in San Luis Obispo, Diana now lives in Santa Barbara, where she is President of Wellness Hyperbarics. Diana serves on the board of several charities including CASA. You'll hear about that on this fun interview. You'll find her on Facebook.
